The Lord Provost being presented with a new History of the High Constables of Edinburgh which was written by Past Moderator W R Ferguson. The two previous histories are: Marwick -1865 and Robertson - 1924.
This photograph depicts a stained glass window in the main stair well at the City Chambers in Edinburgh. On either side of the City arms are two standard wooden batons. Dropping from the centre of the arms is the Moderator's gold medal.
The Society also has a stained glass window in St Giles Cathedral.
